SUMMARY:Resisting the Erasure of History
DESCRIPTION:Summer Service\nResisting the Erasure of History\nLed by Monica Staaf \nSince ancient times\, tyrants have attempted to rewrite history to strengthen their control. Now\, we are experiencing a purge of literature and policies relating to slavery\, discrimination\, diversity\, equity\, inclusion\, and other issues that offend the powerful. We’ll explore the importance of remembering our past\, good and bad\, as a spiritual act. \n\nSummer services begin at 10 am. This is an online service\, log on to Zoom from wherever you are to participate in our worship experience. \nWatch the Summer Sunday Online Service in the Unity Room\nJoin your Murray friends this Sunday\, July 6\, and the following Sunday\, July 13\, 10-11 am\, followed by conversation \nBring your own beverage. Murray tech support and child care are NOT available \nThis is an experiment.
