We’re also hosting a Yard Sale where you can browse through gently used treasures both indoors and outdoors. Find your next hidden gem while supporting our community! \nWhat to Expect:\n\nAmazing Vendors: Browse a diverse selection of handcrafted goods\, local products\, and community resources.\nHomemade strawberry shortcake and lemonade.\nYard Sale Treasures: Discover unique finds at our indoor and outdoor yard sale.\nOutdoor Setting: Enjoy the fair in our open-air space right along the roadside for great visibility.\nCommunity Connection: Engage with your neighbors and support the wonderful talent in our area.\nWelcoming Atmosphere: MUUC is a place where everyone is valued and respected.\n\nWhy the MUUC Spring Fair?\nThe Spring Fair is an extension of Murray Unitarian Universalist Church’s commitment to our shared values. We believe in celebrating the inherent worthiness and dignity of every person and promoting justice\, equity\, and compassion. We strive to create a welcoming and inclusive community that honors diverse beliefs and backgrounds. By supporting local vendors and organizations\, and facilitating reuse through our yard sale\, we strengthen our community bonds and create a space where all can flourish. \nFor Vendors:\nWant to share your talents and connect with our community? DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, October 11\, 9 to 3\nDiscover the items you didn’t know you needed. \nWe have furniture\, pet supplies\, gardening supplies\, tools and hardware; kitchen items; seasonal and home decorations; lamps; organizers/plastic bins; framed pictures; 35 mm cameras and tripods; keyboard; suitcases; Christmas trees; yard furniture; and\, in case you need one\, we have a 6-foot lighthouse. \nAll items are priced to sell. While at the Yard Sale\, make time to stop in the Thrift Store for even more items like craft supplies\, clothing\, and linens. \nAnd don’t forget our Holiday Fair on November 7th and 8th. \nNo early birds\, please.

DESCRIPTION:Good Trouble Lives On is a national day of nonviolent action to respond to the attacks posed on our civil and human rights by the Trump administration and to remind them that\, in America\, the power lies with the people.\nOn July 17\, the anniversary of Congressman John Lewis’s passing\, we’re taking action across the country to defend our democracy and carry forward his legacy of Good Trouble. \nJoin us at Murray UU Church from 5 to 6 pm \nIf you are interested in creating signs\, there is some white foam board in the coat racks near the kitchen.  \n\nFrom voter suppression bills like the SAVE Act to the criminalization of protest\, the Trump administration is launching a full-scale attack on our civil and human rights. But we know the truth: in America\, the power lies with the people\, and we’re rising to prove it. \nThis is more than a protest; it’s a moral reckoning. A continuation of the movement Lewis helped lead\, and a new front in the struggle for freedom. \nPlease note: A core principle behind our Good Trouble Lives On actions is a commitment to nonviolence in all we do. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
