Though we work to acknowledge the land\, we don’t always follow through with indigenous solidarity. This hurts our chance at fully belonging while recognizing the complications of any home. Come explore these complications in worship and what it takes to make any land home. \nRev. Jo is the Executive Director for UU Mass Action and\, with passion and zest\, mobilizes and organizes with the many UU Mass Action campaigns. Jo is also kept busy as a chaplain at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston and caring for her 1-year-old. She loves liberation\, the ocean\, and a fine chicken dinner. \n\nService begins at 10 a.m. This is a hybrid service. Sometimes we are lonely\, sometimes we are not safe\, sometimes we are a burden\, maybe we were dangerous to others at times\, maybe we are a part of an unjust society\, we will not always be well\, and this causes pain. When we obsess about the pain\, because\, let’s face it\, pain takes up a lot of space in our minds\, we can really be taken for a ride. What is painful becomes a catastrophe. \nHow do we keep what is naturally painful from becoming a catastrophic event?
