- Religion anchors believers to the Iron Age
- Religion makes a virtue out of faith
- Religion diverts generous impulses and good intentions
- Religion teaches helplessness
- Religions seek power

Murray Church has a rich history of meaningful and inspiring Religious Education programming for adults — discussions, workshops, and other events that contribute to spiritual growth, lifelong religious learning, and a deep understanding of the world in which we live. These activities are organized and led by our Minister, our Director of Lifespan Religious Education, and members of our church.
