Speak-Easy Discussion Group

The Speak-Easy Discussion Group will resume meeting for the 2023-2024 church year on Sunday, September 10 with the topic Who is responsible for teaching morals? Parents? Schools? Churches?

The Speak-Easy Discussion Group meets in Harmony Hall from 8:45 to 9:45 prior to the church service. All topics are discussed in a calm, non-threatening way. All views are welcome. Our Covenant states we should seek truth in love.

So bring a cup of coffee/tea and speak your mind and share your view.

Lifelong learning

Murray Church has a rich history of meaningful and inspiring Religious Education programming for adults — discussions, workshops, and other events that contribute to spiritual growth, lifelong religious learning, and a deep understanding of the world in which we live. These activities are organized and led by our Minister, our Director of Lifespan Religious Education, and members of our church.

The regular group meets on the second and fourth Sundays of each month.  Topics for these meetings will be provided in advance in the Murray Notes.

On the first and third Sundays, the discussions will be “open mic” in which anyone can bring up any topic they like.

We meet on Sunday mornings from 8:45 am to 9:45 am in Harmony Hall.
