Flower Communion: The Gifts of Blessed Community

It’s the last Sunday of the official church year when we celebrate the long-standing Unitarian tradition of Flower Communion. Each person is invited to bring a flower to church, to symbolize the unique gifts each of us brings to help create a beloved community. After the bouquet of flowers is blessed, people are then invited up to take a different flower home with them, to symbolize the gifts we each receive here by being part of Murray Church. It’s also Father’s Day. Weather permitting, we hope to hold the service outdoors. All are invited to stay afterward for a coffee hour celebration of the end of the church year.

Worship is at 10 am Sunday mornings.

If you prefer — or if you are feeling sick — please continue to log on to Zoom from the comfort and safety of your own home to be a part of our worship experience.
