Our church is self-supporting. The life-changing work of this faith community is made possible solely through the generous donation of members and friends like you. Together, pledges combine to become more than 60% of the church’s total income. 
 
Pledges are documented in March, for the following July 1 – June 30 calendar year, during the Stewardship Campaign. Stewardship is about taking good care of something we value and enabling it to grow. As stewards, we take responsibility for the long-term care of something we treasure- something we want to last. Together, we are all stewards of Murray Church.
 
Charitable giving (either weekly, monthly, or yearly) is a spiritual practice – an act of gratitude and spiritual generosity – to support the love, service, and growth of the Murray community, which is making a positive difference in people’s lives.
  • Send your pledge or donation checks in the mail
  • Arranging to have a regular check sent through online banking
  • Making an online payment directly through REALM Connect

A Membership requirement to vote at a Congregational Meeting is to make “a recorded financial contribution” of at least one of your financial gifts to Murray Church, which should be made by check or cash and be placed in an envelope with your name(s) written on it, or online through REALM Connect. There must be a note on the envelope or inside the envelope explaining what the funds are for.

If paying by check, there should be a clear note on the “memo” line. All financial gifts to Murray Church are greatly appreciated, but we are unable to record gifts given by members who place loose cash in the offering plate each week since we are unable to determine the origin or purpose of those contributions.
