The theme suggests we are embarking on a journey. As Rick Millard noted during the Mid-Year review meeting, our first step on the journey is to take stock of where we are now. During service, we’ll ask you to write down your view of Murray Church, and we’ll have some questions to stimulate the thought process. I’m thinking of this as creating my two-minute elevator speech to answer the question “Why should I come to Murray Church?” We’ll collect the responses and use them to form our best overall answer to that question.
