Where We’ve Been: Remembering In Order to Find Faith Beyond Yesterday

The Murray Transition Team gathered up all of your memories about what you have liked and disliked about Murray over the past decades from the service in February and what was published in our Newsletter. They have faithfully compiled and categorized the results and will be able to share them with you.

A wise old priest once wryly shared with an interfaith group of clergy I belonged to, “You can’t have change without a funereal.” In one way that’s an awful thing to say, but in another light it is absolutely true. Mind you. we are not saying that the Murray of five years ago is in any way dead.

However, if we start to analyze our own systems of working together and hope to draft a future plan of what we are going to do together, then we have to first remember who we have been and what our legacy is. Understanding and honoring our legacy together will help us better move into whatever the challenges of the future might hold.

Service begins at 10 a.m. This is a hybrid service. Join us in the sanctuary or log on to Zoom from the comfort and safety of your own home to be a part of our worship experience.
