Democracy and Conscience

Sunday, October 18, 2026

Led by Rev. F. Vernon Wright V

Location: Sanctuary

Join us this Sunday as we delve into the theme of the Election Day Sermon. Yes, I know: October 18 is hardly Election Day. However, with early voting, etc., it’s not, not Election Day either!

Conscience is that internal moral sense or guiding voice that helps a person distinguish between right and wrong. We have long stood for the freedom of conscience. The question of how that relates to our civic responsibilities is important.

Service begins at 10 a.m. This is a hybrid service. Join us in the sanctuary or log on to Zoom from the comfort and safety of your own home to participate in our worship experience. Service ends at 11 a.m., followed by coffee and fellowship.

We are a certified Welcoming Congregation and Green Sanctuary
