Can we build an island of sanity together?

This Sunday in the month-long theme of possibility, deals with community in the context of the following question: While world events and national circumstances continue to be galling, can we build an island of sanity together? I think we can. It’s easy to take for granted a place like Murray. It has been around for generations. Yet, when we look beneath the surface, we find that it was an island of sanity all along for a people who saw the rigid Protestant and Catholic faiths around them as restrictive and controlling. The island of sanity that is Murray for the current generations may look different from it did 150 years ago, but it serves a similar purpose.

Service begins at 10 a.m. This is a hybrid service. Join us in the sanctuary or log on to Zoom from the comfort and safety of your own home to participate in our worship experience. Service ends at 11 a.m., followed by coffee and fellowship.
