Sermon, Deeds of Welcome

Sunday, September 14, 2025, A Welcoming Place

We are a welcoming place for all who enter our doors. We affirm our identity as a Black Lives Matter church and as an LGBTQ+ welcoming community, and we take pride in being a safe haven for seekers, questioners, and heretics of every stripe. Here, diversity of belief and experience is not only accepted but celebrated, as we join together in our shared commitment to human dignity, compassion, and loving kindness.

Together, we ask: What might it look like to widen the circle of love and belonging even more, both within these walls of this church and beyond them?
