The “Speak-Easy” Discussion Group, Sunday, Feb. 26

Scientists say they can, but should they?

Scientists now say they can resurrect the extinct dodo. They also say they can do the same for the extinct woolly mammoth and Tasmanian tiger. But should they?

Illustration of the Dodo Bird

The dodo is often depicted as fat and ungainly. This illustration above by Mughal artist Ustad Mansur from around 1625, is thought to be one of the most accurate, according to Hume.

Calm, clear, and collected discussions on current “hot” topics, as well as other issues from a Unitarian Universalist perspective.  We meet on the second and fourth Sundays of the month BEFORE regular Sunday services, from 8:45 am to 9:45 am in Harmony Hall.

So bring a cup of coffee/tea and come speak your mind and share your views in a safe, non-threatening atmosphere.
