A Fierce, Courageous Love

It’s Palm Sunday, marking Jesus’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem, in the final week of his young, rebel rousing life. According to the story, he would go from entering the city in praise, to being betrayed, arrested, tortured, condemned, crucified, dead and buried by week’s end. Let’s take a closer look at the historic man from Galilee, and at the teachings he left us – ideas he was willing to die for. A fierce, courageous, compassionate, all-welcoming, all-inclusive love. A love willing to speak truth to power. A command to love one another, and treat one another as we would wish to be treated. Ideals human beings have strived to live up to and into for more than two thousand years.

Worship is at 10 am Sunday mornings.

If you are eligible for the vaccine, but unvaccinated, or are not comfortable gathering in person at this time, please plan to log on to Zoom to see the live streaming worship service.
