John Lock, one of the important thought leaders in the establishment of English Mercantile Capitalism, based everything on interpreting only one of the two Bible’s creation stories. What if instead of having dominion over the earth, we understood that we were to be the Earth’s stewards as is stated in Genesis 2?

Inspired by the work of Janine Benyus’s concept of Biomimicry, what if, instead of thinking that we can create technology that is superior to what hundreds of millions of years of evolution have created, we studied organic and geological systems more closely and learned from it, engineering more sustainable and advanced technologies in the process?

Service begins at 10 a.m. This is a hybrid service. Join us in the sanctuary or log on to Zoom from the comfort and safety of your own home to be a part of our worship experience.
