Light for the Journey

Led by Rev. F. Vern Wright V

In the liturgical traditions of the West, the holiday season began with the season of Advent. As people looked forward to the celebration of the birth of Christ, people looked for ways to prepare themselves by living better lives. Though not all of us in the UU tradition may celebrate the holidays the same way, we understand the significance of light and the hope that humanity might shine more brightly with love, compassion, and kindness; Hanukkah, Christmas, and Kwanza all recognize these themes. Join us as we explore together the light we take for our journey and the spirituality and ethics required to do so.

Service begins at 10 a.m. This is a hybrid service. Join us in the sanctuary or log on to Zoom from the comfort and safety of your own home to be a part of our worship experience.

We are a certified Welcoming Congregation and Green Sanctuary
