Our Inescapable American Network of Mutuality

Martin Luther King, Jr. challenged our naive notions of the exceptionally wonderful nature of our national history. He reminded us relentlessly of the original sins of dispossession and extermination of indigenous peoples and the enslavement and the ongoing oppression of African Americans. Is it possible in these polarized times to find a usable history of our nation?

Dedicated offering this Sunday

This month’s Dedicated Offering will be for the Dr. Martin Luther King Memorial Committee of Greater Attleboro. Our partnership with the committee is deep and long. Murray has hosted the ML King Day celebration, which is virtual this year, and members of the committee include folks from Murray. Half of the offering will be donated to a local charity and the remainder will fund the committee’s W. Duane Lockard Scholarship and its general fund.

Use REALM Connect to donate. Under Fund use the pulldown to select Dedicated Offering.

We will gather for in-person worship at 10:00 a.m. in our sanctuary or if you prefer — or if you are feeling sick — please continue to log on to Zoom from the comfort and safety of your own home to be a part of our worship experience.

If you are unvaccinated or are not comfortable gathering in person at this time, please plan to log on to Zoom to see the live streaming worship service.
