For I was Hungry, and You Fed Me

Jesus, in the book of Matthew, reminds us that any time we extend love and help to those in need, we are loving and helping build the presence of the sacred, here on earth. Murray Church has an essential food insecurity ministry – our church Food Pantry — that has been helping to feed people in our area for more than three decades. Let us lift up and celebrate this all-important community outreach ministry, as we hear from a Food Pantry volunteer, as well as one of the clients we serve.

There will be a tour of the Food Pantry’s new operations following worship. Please plan to bring canned goods, other non-perishable food items or personal care products to stock our Food Pantry shelves this Sunday!

This service will be led by our Food Pantry Volunteers and Rev. Gretchen Weis.

Worship is at 10 am Sunday mornings. If you are eligible for the vaccine, but unvaccinated, or are not comfortable gathering in person at this time, please plan to log on to Zoom from the comfort and safety of your own home to be a part of our worship experience.
