Embracing the “Nones”

The fastest-growing religious demographic in the US population is the “Nones.” This term refers to those who say that they have no religious affiliation.

Since about 72% of this group believes in a God or “Higher Power,” instead of referring to them as the Nones (which may connote a lack of belief in God), many scholars say that we should refer to this group as simply the “Unchurched.” The theme of the service shall explore this demographic and ask how Murray might do a better job of reaching out to this group. A discussion shall follow the service.

Worship is at 10 a.m. on Sunday mornings. If you prefer — or if you are feeling sick — please log on to Zoom from the comfort and safety of your own home to be a part of our worship experience.

We are a certified Welcoming Congregation and Green Sanctuary.
