RE Plans for Kids and Youth for January 23 and 30

Jan 21, 2022 | Children, News, Religious Education, Youth

Based on survey results of our families and program needs, the RE Committee met this week to discuss January 23 and beyond:

For Kids R.E., they will meet in person or on Zoom with the adult community for the Multigenerational Service on the 23rd. If you are Zooming in, have a scarf with you so you can join our dance parties virtually!  On January 30th they will meet during service in the Unity Room, with doors open and physical distancing. Please dress warmly on the 30th.

For Our Whole Lives, we will postpone the class scheduled for the 23rd and plan to meet on February 6th as the numbers should be back down by then. Because this is a program for which youth shouldn’t miss any classes, the R.E. team felt it was important not to schedule it if any families are concerned about Covid exposures. We are hoping to plan a special event for making up missed classes.

For Youth Group, we will meet virtually on the 23rd and 30th.  Youth should watch their emails later this week for the Zoom link and activity plan.
