“Climate Change: What can WE do?”

The science of climate change is real and the time to make a positive difference is now. There are many things that can be done on the individual, local community, national and international levels to address the urgent needs of climate change. Come hear more about the things you can do to help this one, beautiful, fragile planet we call home.

Our Earth Day worship will be co-led by the Murray Climate Action Team and Religious Services Committee

Flim discussion after the service: “Kiss the Ground”

Learn about the next big movement underway to address climate change

“Kiss the Ground” is a new film about how regenerating the world’s soils has the potential to rapidly stabilize Earth’s climate, restore lost ecosystems, and create abundant food supplies. This film explains why transitioning to regenerative agriculture could be key in rehabilitating the planet, while simultaneously invigorating a new sense of hope and inspiration in viewers.

There are two ways you can watch:
— on Netflix streaming
— or Register to view the film here for free online home viewing with Interfaith Power and Light (IPL) to watch the film between now and April 25. Once you register, you will receive a link-to-view for three different versions—the full-length film (84 minutes), a grower version (45 minutes), and an educational version for schools (45 minutes.). You will also receive a zoom link to join a webinar hosted by IPL on 4/21 (2 pm Eastern), on what congregations can do to be part of the solution to food justice and climate justice, in a conversation with the filmmaker, Josh Tirkell.
